Bennett is thought of pretty highly in the circles I know. I was surprised St. Louis let him go.
They should have listed his entire history. Even if people don't know the names from other leagues they understand "all-star" and "best".
So glad we got this guy. His track record year to year is damn near perfect.
Blues fans were fine seeing him leaving
They were. He was their own Tim Army.
Difference is those Blues teams actually got really good results on their PP while we looked like a bottom-pack ECHL team
We looked like that in all areas.
Happy with this. Don't know much about Bennett (other than Blues fans were fine seeing him leaving ), but he looks experienced, which is something I really wanted.
I like it. He was an assistant on a team that played good team hockey for a long time.
And I'm almost afraid to ask this: does this coaching hire really truly have not even a hint of nepotism smell to it?
I'm pretty happy that they signed someone with actual NHL experience. And not annoyed like when they hired the dinosaur Farrish
Going with NHL experience in this hire means there's a Bednar replacement should the Avs choose that option.
