I can assure you that it seems like much to me. That's ****ing amazing. They will forever be my heroes.
I've seen people get take anywhere from 2-8 years to get their cards back but the longest I've ever waited was probably about a year. Kopitar and Tavares both took about that long and those were both within my first year or two of collecting. A few weeks ago I heard back from both Bill Guerin and Rod Brind'Amour after nearly a year. For the most part though, I typically safely write it off if it hasn't come back after a year or so.One time I got a signed card back 3 years later when I used to collect autos through the mail. It was an NFL player (Terrell Owens), but still!
What was even more fascinating is that I sent it to the Eagles facility when he was on the team and he sent it back when he was a Cowboy. Fascinating.
personally i would keep for sentimental reasons. i would put it in a picture frame to flatten it out.View attachment 299275
it’s in poor shape but personalized to me in a minor way. Am I wrong in throwing it out?

Here's my channel and first video. Feel free to watch on mute because my voice is awful. I opened a box of this year's Ice for my first video (which, ironically, didn't have any autographs).

I'm honestly tongue twisted to begin with and this being the first time I've ever recorded myself for this (not counting test runs) made it worse. I was also fixated on giving that little channel intro at the beginning and was concerned about leaving out something I wanted to mention. Plus I hate, despise how my voice sounds recorded (but doesn't everyone?). It might not show in the video but I did feel more and more comfortable as the box went on. I'm definitely expecting kinks for a while but I'm definitely not as worried about future videos as I was the first time. I'm not used to talking during my box breaks, let alone narrating them, at least not yet, ha. I always wonder how sports commentators can do it.I’ll be subbing after this comment. You’re nervous and it shows. Take a deep breath and relax. Just pretend your not recording for an audience, and you’re doing this by yourself without taping it.
Not a bad first video all in all bud. Good luck with the breaks.
