I'll be the Oilers again, and have decided to go at it on my own.

I should add though, if there isn't enough spots open for any new gm's, I'll take one to help me out. Not so much as a co-gm, but one to fill in for me from time to time. That or I'll be forwarding lists quite often as hockey season for my kids is starting up and that means quite a bit of travelling for me soon.

Doesn't look like we'll need co-GM's, so tentatively write me down to GM the Dallas Blackhawks of the old CHL.

Newbies interested in having a co-g.m.:

The Hockey_Guy18 (preferably with a co-g.m.)
FlyersHomerDM03 (would like a fellow newbie co-g.m.)
Agent Dale Cooper (interested in being a co-g.m.)
nik jr. (interested in being a co-g.m.)
For those vets who expect to be busy this fall, get a hold of one of these newbies.
Newbies, find a vet to pair up with.

The odds of a newbie team being added is increased if newbies pair up, even if with each other.

I don't think John Flyers Fan, Frightened Inmate #2, Spitfire11, Pwnasaurus, pnep, or #66 have said either way. If they all join with their own teams we would have 27 teams with 5 new GMs wanting that (possibly) last spot.

I am out.
Because i am very busy. :(

Currently on vacation in Toronto until the 10th-ish ... waiting to start until the 21st-ish sounds great.

Edit: Any locals, PM me with good (cheap) restaraunt suggestions ...

I'm looking for the team distribution. I'd like not to the be in the exact same division than last time (BM, Reck, the two ES are still there, Wisent will probably be there, too).

Thus saying I'd like to move my team north of the '49.

I think this time around we should go for random divisions. I was for the geographic divisions before because of the rivalry aspect, but there was some imbalance between the relative strength of each division. There could be the same imbalance in a random collection of teams, but at least it would be due to chance rather than something as inconsequential as the team name.

My comment wasn't about the imbalance itself, more about the fact I would like my team to be compared with different people this time (add to this that VanIslander moved his team in the Eastern US area, and you have a very tough div...), but I can perfectly understand your point...
