So many goals being scored around the league seems like rubbing salt in our wound...

Foegele looks like a player with Carolina. Loved watching him with Strome in Erie. Really wish the Coyotes targeted him while his cost was lower.

I saw very little of the CBJ game today, but listened to the majority of it on Sirius and followed up with the game summary. My take away/s:

Duclair is still Duclair.

The CBJ radio guy is obnoxious.

Man coyotes players would hate us hahaha

Haha I wonder though?! I feel like (for the most part) the posters here on forum 40 aren't mean about their analysis.
Sometimes maybe not so nice though... But it's not like being a Yotes fan is cakewalk with what the past has brought.

I feel like most here have a sense of humor about it all lol.

Mike Smith getting lit the **** up by St. Louis only two nights after a 43 save shutout against Nashville. Vintage inconsistent Smitty

Pulled after two periods.

Smith's season so far:

Game 1: .818 save percentage
Game 2: .800 save percentage
Game 3: 1.000 save percentage
Game 4: .792 save percentage

So glad we don't have to deal with his shit anymore.

Two of the goals I saw tonight were absolute muffins to. Of course he shook his head and stared at Stone.

He is exactly who we said he was (well, when I say "we," I mean everyone who recognized that he was a very talented but extremely inconsistent goalie, not the people who said he was a Vezina-caliber goalie upon whose shoulders the fate of our franchise rested :sarcasm:). I'm kinda over the schadenfreude with him, though. The fact that Chayka had the stones to get out from under his awful contract really calmed me down a lot!

Also - anyone else loving Vegas off to a 1-4 start?

No. I love the Knights and want them to succeed as much as possible as long as it's not at our expense.

@The Feckless Puck - I agree on Smith. I’m glad he’s gone. He stayed a little too long. He also gave us the only really good season we’ve had in these last 20+ years. I was cheering against him last year. This year, he may as well be Ben Bishop or Brian Elliott to me. He’s just a guy.
