Daley, Bickell and a 2nd for Colin Jacobs?

**** no. I'm not giving them over $7m in relief for a pick between 55-60. They just got fleeced in the name of $1.7m of cap relief. I'm serious: they have to give us Schmaltz if they want Bickell off their books.

What was Sharp's NTC limit? Dallas seems like an odd "accept"

Apparently only two teams were interested in him w/o retention. Dallas may not be very good but at least he gets to play with a talented group of forwards. Once Washington gave up and traded for Oshie the chances of going to a contender were pretty tiny.

I'm kind of nervous for the deal they(Buffalo)are willing to give to Oduya.

With that said, I am seeing Oduya signing in Dallas. They have a good team down there and he would help improve their defense.

In Sasquatch news, yesterday, Big John Scott was allegedly sighted signing a 1 year contract with Arizona. Witness statements and police reports agree that he was spooked by camera flashes. He was last seen fleeing through the desert. Officials caution anyone who encounters him to keep their distance. He is reportedly unarmed but still considered a threat (mainly to his team's GA statistics) .

Interesting that Edmonton was putting the screws to Boston about an offersheet so they rushed a trade to Calgary before most teams even knew he was available.

The more things come out, the more it looks like Neely is the problem in Boston. Even waiting a few hours to let other teams step forward with offers before the draft could have netted him more.

This morning on the radio Don Sweeney said it's as simple as Hamilton+Lucic+Smith = 41 goals, Beleskey+Hayes = 41 goals.

Amateurs running the Bruins right now, right down to the vindictiveness of trading Hamilton to the rival of the team who's threatening an offer sheet.

Who also happens to be the rival of the team whose GM had a falling out with Cam Neely. Neely is really the guy to blame there. Have to wonder how many of the bad moves Chiarelli made in his last two years or so can be attributed to Neely. Chia has looked like a guy released from prison or a terrible marriage ever since he went to Edmonton.

No doubt Chiarelli was lucky to have been fired. The Bruins are an aging team that traded away its two best building blocks, one before the firing and one after. Now he goes to a team that has McDavid, RNH, Hall, Eberle, Yakupov, Draisaitl, Nurse, Reinhart, and Klefbom as building blocks. There's a ton of work to be done but he's playing with house money just like Murray. There's so much to play with there.

Judging by that hair and smile, I'm betting Sweeny crushed the ladies back in the day, which i believe led to a life of womanizing and child arrears. This in turn led into debts, which he was able to pay off only by making a deal with devil, Neely, who driven by a dark rage of his own, created by a shortened career, decided to burn an nhl franchise to the ground. And so Sweeny became a pawn of evil in a manner we haven't seen since ww2. If not for that beautiful salad, Sweeny might be living a pure life, without nhl gm sin. Damn that hair.

Allegedly.

Neely has slowly stepped out of the shadows ever since the Bruins looked like their days of mediocrity were over in 09. I hate that guy, so it's pretty sweet to watch him presiding over one of the dumbest organizations in the league.
