Sophomore slump hit Beniers hard. What happened there? 7 goals and nothing from him. -20 on the year

I think the Kraken as a whole overachieved last year - lot of guys with unsustainable career best play.

With that said, sophomore slumps are common and I think Beniers will be just fine. But it’s not helping him that everyone else on his teal has regressed back to their usual selves.

Also count me as mystified as to Kyrou’s treatment by STL fans. No idea how he gets booed for that, and feel bad for him being so clearly shaken by it.
