The Caps played like a team that was content with their cup win last year.

I usually cheer for the Caps because of Ovi but since he got his cup already, it's nice to see a new team advance even if they are a "bunch of jerks".

Canes were definitely carrying the play. There was a stretch halfway through the first OT where the Caps started to press, after that they were definitely chasing the play. After not scoring on the PP it seemed like only a matter of time until Carolina scored.
