With as good as his is, the rest are pretty **** relative to the first round.

Counterpoint: they're great.

Joe Thornton with Art Garfunkel hair is amazing.

Henrik Lundquist as Magnum PI is just more proof that there's nothing you can do to him that would change his status as the best looking hockey player ever.

The Stamkos mullet is brilliant, but it's really more 80s than 70s, especially with the feathering.

honestly, as someone who was all in on Noah Hanifin's potential from day one to whenever he was traded, I'm not heartbroken about passing up the chance to sign him to a 6 year 29.7 million dollar contract.
Where even if he finally lives up to his potential at some point he's a UFA already at the end of the contract.

I didn’t hate the trade in terms of what we got back on the surface. If we sign Feeland and Fox then I’m good with it.

Saying that Lindy and Hanifin wanted too much money and suggesting they didn’t really want to be here and we won’t tolerate anything less than that was pure crap. Neither signed for more than really should’ve. This is a perfectly appropriate deal for Hanifin.

I wish them both well and kinda hope they make us look stupid for trading them for older players right when it seemed they could both break out.

After all this franchise has been through in the last decade, that's what you hope?

Also, Hamilton just turned 25 (so still plenty of time left in his prime for a d-man), and Fox is the youngest player in the deal (and yes, I understand you may be pessimistic about him signing or even being a good player). So not sure why you make it sound like we traded for abunch of 30 year olds.

They are 25 and 26 to 21 and 23.

I’m not sure why you’re struggling with the math.

Our guys were still trying to figure out what they’re going to be, we already know what the two guys we got back generally are.

Just not a tough concept, I’m sure you’ll figure it out eventually.

I didn’t like the way our management kicked these two out the door, so yes I’m hoping they become successful. I can want that while also hoping the new guys work out for us.
