It's funny, when playing Eastside Hockey Manager, I remember thinking that the game was limited in the names it could conger up to create fictional player once you got X number of years into the future, so you'd see names like Paul Sakic, Tim Niedermayer, even another Brind'Amour occasionally. I was wholly unaware just how close to reality the "re-use" of surnames actually was.
