Winnipeg has a crazy soft schedule the rest of the way, they'll finish ahead of the Habs unless we roll over and die to rest our guys.

WPG has 6 games and were the only playoff team they face and it's their last game of the year.

Dallas and Nashville 0-0 and just battling for a playoff position. Awesome game. Under 5:00 minutes left

That OT by Ottawa was so bad. Brady stayed on pretty much the whole time and when Ottawa managed to get the puck they gave it right back to Montreal.
Made me appreciate Leafs hockey that much more.
They turned 3-3 Sudden Death OT into zero-event hockey. Montreal kept it on the perimeter or kept pulling it back out into the neutral zone, and Ottawa just kind of stood around waving their sticks in the general direction of the puck for two minutes. And then the goal just all of a sudden happened.

Calgary controlling play for two whole periods. Down 2-1. Oilers basically playing four men back.

Edit: oilers score on empty net.

Oilers didn't really generate much 5 on 5 but Smith was good again. He'll definitely need to steal some games for them in the playoffs. Maybe even a series.

Smith might be more dangerous than Hellebuyck in the playoffs. Helle could still potentially turn it on come playoff time but he hasn't been a world beater this season, certainly not recently. Hell based on his career this would be his "down swing" year before swinging back up again.

Helle-Stats.jpg

Goes from a .918 SV% to a .907, up to a .924 then down to a .913, then up again to a .922 only to drop again to a .912. His GAA every year follows a similar pattern.

Still, both Smith and Hellebuyck have performed better than either of Montreal's goaltenders, the only real fear there is that Price could turn it on in the playoffs, but it's more likely Helle finds his game than Price, though Price has by far the better playoff stats between the two, so who knows.

Lol McDavid literally did everything and Draisatl got a primary assist

I just can’t see it with draisatl. Think he’s heavily overrated because he gets to pad his points playing with McDavid.
Someone needs to photoshop a picture of McDavid breastfeeding Draisaitl

The Oilers finish the season by playing the Canucks 5 times and the Habs twice.

Stat padding for McDavid. I guarantee you the Canucks will be tuned out for these five games.
