Matthews usually racks up a ton of goals in the first few weeks and then tapers. I think he has a 50 goal season in him. I hope it's in a full 82.

I guess they didn't think Montreal would be a problem for them? He had a good game though. 5 GA and almost was 6 when a puck he had no idea he saw hit his mask and just grazed off the outside of the post.

The Leafs have said that they want to cut down the amount of games Andersen plays they are expecting a long playoff run, of course they will go out in the first round as always

Probably the median is about 20 games an avg player scores in an 82 game schedule.

That would be a good stat to have.

I tracked "goal games" for a bit during Laine rookie year. I think Ovechkin ran away with that.

Last year first half I remember Laine was more likely to not score than score (scoring in less than half of games), but his goal per game was over 0.5 because of Multi goal games.
