Man watching how happy and excited Ovi and the Caps were last night was something special. So genuine. All those years of suffering were worth it. Just something so special to see those moments last night.
Find someone who'll hold you the way Backstrom and Ovie held each other last night.
One thing I was very thankful for was the Caps win putting an end to that tacky, cheeseball pre game fiasco in Vegas. What an embarrassment!Oh, and please for the love of (hockey) god NHL, put an end to the lame, embarrassing amateur dinner theatre.
yup yup yup.Man... love hockey but finishing this late kinda kills my interest. After May long, gotta think viewership goes down..
I'm with you man. No way hockey should go later than end of May.Man... love hockey but finishing this late kinda kills my interest. After May long, gotta think viewership goes down..
True - they already had David Clarkson, after all...
Oh and they pick once in the first 3 rounds this year (thanks to that brilliant Tatar deal).

They did have 12 picks, including 7 in the top 100 last year. Still have 18 over the next 2 seasons.True - they already had David Clarkson, after all...

I'm not too fuzzed about Vegas doing things in the Vegas way. The usual bland and boring just doesn't feel right for a team playing in a city known for its entertainment. Let them be different; to be honest, this sport could use something different for a change.I hope the fireworks by the carpet walkway was done only because it's in Vegas, as it seemed out of place to me

(like a bunch of new referees, common sense and a functional rulebook for the postseason)

I don't care what they do for their pre game show. I just want it done 15 minutes before game time and not be part of any national broadcast coverage. It's for their fans in their building. I feel exactly the same way about any pregame crap the Jets org does...
