My main takeaway from this photo is that Spider-Man would have been better in red Chucks.

I respect the dedication of the commissioner Gordon ref and it looks like theres the joker in the background and they round that out with spider-man? Like hes not even a DC character...

That is why Spider-Man is not getting to play.

So what you're saying is that if they didn't have 1994, they would be an even bigger laughingstock than the Leafs.

Not gonna lie. I actually hate Blues now. I get it they are happy, but they are so full of shit and they were the franchise who spent the longest time in the league without ever having a cup.

I mean hell, StL is already the self described "best fans in baseball", just give it a couple years and they'll be completely insufferable in hockey as well, much like Boston fans once the Red Sox and Patriots went on their runs.

I will give Bruins one thing. They are at least embracing the hate, they don't act like everyone should love them because they are some gift from heavens. Blues fans give me the vibe of "if you don't like Blues, you don't like good hockey". Meanwhile, Bruins have come to terms that one of their best players (if not the best one) is a Saturday morning cartoon villain.

Yeah, even after the Cup win, I don't particularly care about the Blues or their fans. And I haven't seen any be bothersome.

I honestly don't think all of the original six jerseys are amazing and untouchable. I also like more than minor changes over the course of time. To each their own I suppose.

You know what they say about the opininions... But for me our red jersey is amongst the best. And, yeah, the logo is ideal. I don't care.
I actually think each of our jerseys looks good on their own. In my opinion, our black alternate is quietly in the discussion for the best in the league. The chance they took in filling out vertical space with a tall logo that doesn't look heavy just works perfectly with the current cut of the uniform. And red, grey, and black for a team named the Hurricanes, invoking thoughts of windy, chaotic nights during the storm... perfect.

Our white is probably our worst look, and its still not a bad jersey. My only gripe is that I kind of just wish we identified one motif and stuck with it. Having 4 jerseys, each with a completely different design, is a bit much. On the other hand, there's a part of me that would like to see the Canes tweak at least one jersey every year, like you see in soccer, to ramp up their merchandise sales.

What does Tage Thompson have to do with anything?
It is an expression of love for those comments about Pigtown. For it is written in The Book of Geoffrey: "A vile and wicked horde from the north led by John the Deceiver shall cross the River Niagara. But lo and behold, they shall be met by our all powerful Giraffe God and face a terrible reckoning. He shall strike them down with His righteousness hooves, delivering upon them the justice and eternal damnation that their wretched and wicked ways demand. And with his holy and sacred toe drag he shall be the savior of the city of Buffalo, delivering us to eternal salvation"

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Giraffe, amen!

Looking like this 24 team playoff might be a thing. Weird situation for this draft pick as they're probably playing the Rangers and the Leafs are in the play-in as well. Who knows how the lottery is going to work.

If you think about the reason teams have for wanting to keep fans engaged right now it’s to convert the eyeballs into future ticket sales, merch, tv ratings, etc. TML doesn’t need to work to maximize profits on any of that so they just keep on doing what they’ve done for the past 40+ years. Basically an F U to fans.

But on the flip side the beaten spouse, Stockholm syndrome leafs nation keeps coming back for more regardless of what the team does so why bother putting time, money and effort into something when you don’t need to, right?
