OT: Arizona State University - NCAA D1 Hockey

The NCAA has academic standards + limits the amount of scholarships that can be offered. ASU can offer 18 full rides or offer equivalent partial scholarships to up to 30 players, which seems like what they did here. Other players can always grey shirt aka hang around until they get an offer, if they want.

I have taken a couple spills there this week. It was players running into me though. That's a bit more dangerous than rough ice that I'm half expecting to fall through because it feels like I'm skating on a pond.

Nothing fair or unfair about it, I just have issues with some colors. I would like to see them in person though. Sadly I'd much rather buy one of them than the yotes new jerseys.
