My impression (didn't do the math) was that scoring was down slightly this season from the past couple of years... But then:

2/13
Detroit 4 @ Edmonton 8
2/15
Dallas 9 @ Nashville 2
Montreal 4 @ Rangers 7
2/17
Florida 9 @ Tampa 2
Anaheim 2 @ Toronto 9
2/18
Rangers 6 @ Isles 5
2/19
Van 7 @ Minny 10

Technically you're right, we're a bit below the last two years currently sitting at 3.12:

There are only 4 Canadian teams that have won Stanley Cups. Vancouver has lost three Finals, Ottawa one, and the Jets haven't been to a Final since the final Avco Cup.
yeah I know that, but his focus is on how long its been since leafs last won when we have 3 teams that are yet to even win a single cup. so I mean how long has it been for them? compared Im assuming its not much worse than where the leafs are. also been 30+ years since a Canadian team won. we are all equally pathetic at this point
