Anyone else the type of person that unless going to the game in person, you prefer being at home often alone to watch? I hate going in a bar setting where I cannot concentrate on the game or be around people that talk about "other stuff". I guess you could say I am very much into the game.

Looks like this series will be spent at home in front of TV. Followed up by some Red Mile visits.

Off to Portugal next week so I will have to stream game 5*, 6* & 7* *mandatory "if necessary"

It's gonna go to 6 or 7! This series is going to be the best round 1 matchup

Yup. I even tried going to the bar with my other hockey loving buddy, we are both "journalists" in the making and it's pretty much our whole life, then all of the sudden he starts talking about super hero movies! **** off, man, hockey is on!

Ponta Delgada in Azores for few days. Then flying to Lisbon for weekend, then London for 2 days then back in Azores. 10 day trip. We got flights to Portugal return $600.

I did not notice this at first. I filled out a Pool bracket and ended up with Tampa vs Calgary final. Calgary wins. I chose Calgary all the way for obvious reasons, but didn't notice Tampa right away.

I do like going to bars because generally the atmosphere is very pro-Flames and that's always nice to celebrate a goal or a fight or a win with those people. But in general I prefer to stay home (if I'm not going to the game) because I can kick my feet up, I have free beer (well, from the fridge), and I can be on HF! HF really has become a ritual for me on game days (and non-game days... I'm pretty much always on here now lol)

Many people on Twitter (such as Steinberg) have said that resting Monahan was part of the plan all along. He'll be back for game 1.
