Before anyone jumps on me for no reason, I absolutely love oldies and classic rock. Elton John and Eagles are in my top 5 of all time.

It's not that they are a bad band, it's just that they get elevated in status because of when they were around. If pink Floyd started today, no one would think of them as a legendary band

Freddy Mercury is king. A rockstars rockstar. Queen is the only one of the bands being discussed I enjoy. Not a Who, AC/DC, Floyd or Led Z guy. At all. Never got the Stones idolatry.
