-Dermott is so calm and cool under pressure. He exits the defensive zone with ease and usually makes a great breakout pass. It's too bad he is tasked with 3rd pair babysitting
-Did not notice Zaitsev tonight....which means he was good I guess!

Rangers played well today. This is the NHL, not the CHL. The difference between top teams and bottom teams isn't AS big. When less talented teams put in a good effort, you get games like this. Had the Rangers rolled over in the first period that we absolutely dominated, we would've blown them out.

He looks fuller in the face this year... maybe he’s added some much needed weight/muscle. A year of being the Marlies #1 defender in a championship run had to be great for his development too.
