Andrew MacDonald sustained a lower body injury during an off-season workout and will be sidelined approximately six weeks.

I know people have been wanting this to happen for years now but this sucks. Not for the team but for him. I hope he heals up soon but stays out a little longer as a precaution.

Sorry to hear that for MacDonald personally, but excited to (hopefully) see Myers.

I know many will point to the money MacDonald has made on his contract, and I'm sure that helps some, but he's towards the end of his career and I'm sure he just wants to play.

I mean the role of the 7th Dman is to fill in when someone is hurt...so Frolin will probably play. It would be great if Myers got a shot but you know...Hak.

It is good news for Sanheim tho.
