wonder if Hughes talked with Suzuki at all about Scharr (they played together on Guelph in Suzuki's last junior season... including the long playoff run. (schnarr recently mentioned that he keeps in touch with Suzuki)

Hughes was asked about this in his presser yesterday and he said that he didn't. If I understood correctly, I believe that Schnarr also had some familiarity with Barron, they played together at some point.
