Maybe all of us are not computer nerds like you who know every trick that IE has??

Surely you don't need to be a nerd to be able to do that..

Anyway, for those who don't know about it, you just press CTRL and F at the same time to activate the find function. Then type the player's name in the box and press enter (or click find next). You can also activate the find function by clicking Edit and then Find (on this page). It will save you from having to read thru the long list of selected players plus it will save time for everyone when you don't have to change the the player you select after you notice he's already taken.

Ulvilan punasiivet are proud to draft a longtime linemate for Sampe's earlier pick, mr. Kilpiö. Three time Finnish champion and I think that he still holds the record for quickest two goals (6 seconds). Again from Pori, mr. Jaakko Honkanen

Painonvartijat select:

Niklas Hagman!

Nik has some nice moments in his career, and it is sure to last. He is ideally suited for our teams 4th line wing spot.
Hakki's best moment must be the winning goal in the 1998 WJC's..

The Mansester Broilers' 15th pick is a forward who was selected 95th overall by the California Seals in 1976, but never played a single game in the NHL. He did however have a very successful career in Finland and is currently 10th in the all time scoring list with 252 goals and 554 points in only 432 games played. He was the best goalscorer (36 goals in 36 games) and an All Star in 1976 and played for Finland in several international tournaments, including a Canada Cup in 1976. He made a short comeback in 1998 at the age of 42 and scored two points in the only game he played. A very warm welcome to the team, mr Jouni Rinne. (I'm surprised he wasn't picked by Korkki to his Satakunta team ages ago)

For HC ASB, Defender and the most funniest tv commentator (although he doesn't know it himself) Pentti Lindegren.

For Princess' Dream Team amazing right winger, Marko Jantunen and defender Mikko Luoma.

The Broilers' 16th pick is another Tappara legend, a forward that scored 212 goals and 367 points in 336 games in 10 seasons in Finland. In all those years he played, he compiled a total of 24 PIMs. Not surprisingly, he took home the Gentleman Player of the Year Award twice ('76, '78), and was a member of the All Star team in 1977, when he scored 35 goals and 63 points in 36 games. He was also a member of Finland's World Championship squad the same year, scoring seven goals and an assist in 10 games played. His other accomplishments include winning the Rookie of the Year Award in 1973. In the Broilers team he shall be reunited with his long-time linemates Martti Jarkko and Mikko Leinonen in the second line. Welcome to the team, mr Jukka Alkula.

ES is away at the moment and he asked me to pick for him. He sent me a pm where he has already picked and I'll just post it here.

This player was a member of Team Finland in 1994 when Finland won olympic bronze medal. He was also in Team Finland the next year when Finland won the World Championship gold. He scored to GWG when Kiekko-Espoo clinched place in SM-liiga. He is the first finnish ever to play in the russian league. Flaming Blue selects forward Tero Lehterä.

Ulvilan punasiivet are proud to draft the only player grown outside Satakunta to this team. He will be remembered as one of the greatest Ässät -players after he retires. He has played in Quebec for one season and in Germany for few seasons. He is originally from Helsinki, but did not take his place in either of its teams so Lasse Heikkilä brought him to Pori. Right winger Jari Korpisalo.

Team Padawan next pick is a forward who made his first NHL contract at a very young age. He has made his first NHL goal but didn't finish his rookie season in the NHL. Instead he came back to Finland. He is extremely potential player and no doubt will help Team Finland in the future. Team Padawan is proud to announce it's next pick...

Interesting pick. Must have been a very versatile player since he was best goal scorer when he played as a forward, and later won the Lynces Academy Defenseman Award.

Don't you mean he's a seven-time gold medallist though? ;)

Indeed he was versatile, though the amount of games played in the league during the 1940s was incredibly low. But in 1945-46 for instance he scored 19 goals and 21 points in just 8 games. And it seems that even as a defenseman, his goals/assists ratio was pretty much the same... :amazed:

And no, I really do mean bronze medals! Beat that, HPK!

Back to our pick...Kiekko-Vantaa are proud to complete their defense (we're using Rintakoski as a defenseman btw) by selecting a TuTo legend who also captained TPS and Finland's national team for a few years. He was a five-time Finnish league All Star and the Finnish Player of the Year in 1969, participating in 7 World Championships and 3 Olympics during his career and playing in a total of 214 games for team Finland. We welcome to our team Jääkiekkoleijona #51,

defenseman Seppo Lindström.

Team Padawan's round 17th pick is a winger who is a Kupio native. He has had most penalty minutes in SM-Liiga season 1998-1999. He has also been selected as the Best forward in Karjala Cup 1998-1999. The same season he was selected to All Star team in Sweden Hockey Games. He has played in the NCAA, in the AHL and in the NHL too. Here's Team Padawan's next pick....
