This is the tweet that annoys me. Especially since we could lose the only guy worth a crap in that CBGB line and keeping the two garbage players instead.

That's the whole thing. Carter is thew only one who should still be on the team from the 4th line.

I'll miss him for games against the Rangers, but other than that I'm not going to be that upset if he's gone. I would prefer him to either Gio or Bernier, but ultimately we're talking about fourth liners here.

You said it yourself, 2 guys we wanted back, what does that tell you?

Because they were hot commodities for us, people don't think they would be hot commodities for other teams to have as well? They both had/have leverage over any of our other UFAs

People assume the negotiations are just that simple

A solid 4th line is great to have and great for depth, but if we are relying on it as some are making it seem, then we are in trouble and that is not the case here
