Not so good, but Bergeron and Krejci are both very good faceoff guys. It's obviously an area he needs to work on, but he's young and it'll come. This team in general isn't very good in the faceoff circle.

7% on face-offs is definitely not good, however, where he used to be bad every night, now he goes good and bad and he is playing against better players. Improvement is there but a ways to go. His improvement is still very noticeable.

Many players have the faceoff % the nights they play Boston. Bergeron is one of the best in the NHL.

It missed out on something although the tertiarty passes got close already.

I wonder if Wennberg-Hartnell on the ice has any impact on a decision to keep Scotty. Like if his impact on Wennberg's development is considered

It certainly has an impact on whether or not I'd like to keep the guy.
(That said, it kind of comes out in the wash when one factors in the Dumb Penalties Per Game metric.)
In the long run it might help to have at least two guys who can play the game of ice hockey signed.

Funny stuff. Maybe Torts will eventually get it thru Wennie the Pooh's head that it is ok to send the puck in the direction of the net.

The centers can not continue to just b-pass the puck. They need to be more involved. Torts is 100% correct in forcing Wennberg to shoot the puck
Four passes break any defence? Wennberg to Hartnell, Hartnell to Wennberg cycle is only two or three passes.

Richards never would have done that. I'm happy with Torts. And I trust him with the (coachable) kids
Wennberg resembles Backstrom (his first seasons in the NHL) a lot.
Columbus under-performed this season, but that might be a blessing in disguise.
Defence finally starts to look good, you have BoB and a lot of skilled forwards + high end prospects.
If you manage to get one of the Finns in the draft, your future looks really good.
Wennberg will turn a lot of heads in the future.

Personally I've never thought he had/has that kind of potential. I suppose anything can happen though.
