The Leafs would never do it but Turcotte for Joseph Woll, add him to our goalie carousel.

Turcotte making this team as a 4C so LA can trade Lizotte to make a little more cap room!
Would love Turcotte on the team. Would also love to not pay a 4th line center 1.6 mil on a cap strapped, center heavy team.

Im with you on both accounts.

Have no interest in paying a 4C 1.6 on this team thats against the cap. I do not have the same love everyone does for Lizotte. He plays with energy and heart, which endears him to folks. Last year he over achieved. He does not have the pedigree and I think he will come back to eart and folks will slowly see the light.

Woll is probably not happening.

I could see the Leafs having an interest in Turcotte just because our centre depth is poor.

Jarnkrok of any interest?

He'll never get a shot with Kings
He's played the last 9 games with the Kings. Also just because his chances of having a high impact role is lower with the Kings does not mean they need to trade him for a mediocre goalie. If I were LA I would make him available for a legitimate #1 like Saros or Markstrom. Especially since those teams want centers

Have liked him in his brief sting with LA. Not sure how much space there is for him going forward though.
I would move him if it were to help address goalie beyond this year. If LA knew Ullmark would re-sign (only one more year on his deal) I would do Turcotte + Roy for Ullmark.

Turcotte too much to give up for us.

Roy fills no need on a team with McAvoy and Carlo at RD.

He would just be filler in a move for Saros and doesn't really move the needle. We've already got Glass who had a similar background and that hasn't worked out. I don't see Trotz taking that gamble, not for Saros anyways.

Turcotte and a 1st for Ullmark seems like a very fair trade for both sides

None. Maybe a 3rd to the right team but he hasn’t shown glimpses of anything.
That's a shame. The potential was great for the kid.
I think he will be a secondary part to a larger deal than just a 1 for 1 swap on his own.

Way too much for a Goalie with one year left before UFA. Especially for one without a postseason track record.
If you don't think the former Vezina winner who makes 5 million for a year in a half would command a 1st + a decent prospect then I'm not sure what you're expecting

I don't believe in the Veznia.

We did see a stacked Boston team blow out in the 1st round.

King's don't need to help Boston clear 5 million in cap space & overpay.

Teams looking for a goalie are dropping out of the market quickly. Most likely goes as a rental this summer. Ulmark has a 16 team no trade list, so he may want to stay in the East.

Could just offer sheet Swayman.

Good luck, Bruins have like 30 million in cap space  They are well prepared to resign Swayman

I also don't get how you don't believe in a statistical award for the best regular season goalie? lol

Do you not believe in the Art or Rocket either? I feel like that needs so much more explaining than anything else

At the end of the day, you're acting like the kings would be doing the Bruins a favor by taking this cap dump off our hands. He is one of the best goalies in the league and on a great contract. The Bruins aren't going to be moving him for a 2nd because you don't believe in his accolades

'12 goalie 1 wins Veznia. Goalie 2 wins cup. Goalie one goes on to never win a cup. Goalie 2 wins a second cup. Winning the Veznia doesn't matter if you can't get it done in the post season.

Ulmark has a career, playoff GAA over 3 & Save% under 0.900

With all that cap space Boston would be dumb not to keep the two best goaltenders in hockey.

Edit: Rocket, didn't Mathews win a Rocket? He's gotten out of the first round 1 time in his career. Winning feel good trophies doesn't mean you have what it takes to win the cup.

Turcotte be good fit in Boston though.
LA management has many issues, but one thing they are not, is impatient with their homegrown draft picks. They have allowed most of their kids work through their issues, let it be injuries or skill, From Kempe to Vilardi, Byfield and now Turcotte.
