Yep, Canes want to lock him up long term and he only wants medium term to get to the big money earlier.

They'll eventually settle on a compromise and it'll get done. Neither side has intention on walking away, it's just who blinks first to find that middle ground.

If skinner as a winger is getting $9 mill per at 27 as a ufa what are aho’s ufa years worth in 5 years as he has 4 rfa years left. He’s the better player right now as well and plays C.

Hayes a ufa is getting over $7 mill.

So of course the prices for years 5 onwards will be very high for Aho. Don’t sell those for cheap like the 2016 rfa class.
