By the way, for anyone who's never been to a game, the Monsters goal song is "Monster" by Skillet leading into "The Whip".

Down 4-1 late in the 2nd, Monsters come back to win 6-5 in OT. Foudy had a goal, but should have had a couple more as his finishing problems keep hurting him. He finished with 8 shots. As long as he keeps going like this, the shots will start to go in. TFW was 1-1-2, scored the game tying goal on a nice backhand with a little under 2 min. to play. Angle had an assist. Christiansen finished 1-2-3, 6 shots, and a +5, nice game by him. He now leads the team in points, 4-10-14. Schemitsch had no points, but was a +4, also a nice game. Tarasov was better than his numbers, 23-28, .821, but 2 goals were PP goals, one a 5 on 3, and 3rd goal went in off Gaunce, who also was 1-2-3. Three wins in a row, and are now 8-3-1-3, and in 2nd place behind Utica, who is 13-0-0-0.

Watching on AHLTV you missed the goal because they were busy showing Tarasov going to the bench. Had to wait until the replay to see the goal. Never understood the need to show the goalie leaving the ice and risk missing a goal being scored.

Refs reviewing a Monster goal and when they showed them on the big screen, a fan was trying to slip them a 10 to call it a good goal. They didn't.

I don't think offense was ever his issue, it was the rest of the game. I understand he worked on his strength this off-season and focused on the defensive side of the game. If that's the case then he might be a legit future NHL player.
