Seattle has a 2 week period where they can negotiate with pending UFAs before the rest of the teams (outside of their current team). If Lowry is offered an extra $10 mil guaranteed over a 5 year period, that may make him reconsider how much he wants to stay in Winnipeg.

I'm aware, but by that time there will have been much discussion between the Jets and Lowry. If he wants to stay, they'll have something hammered out by then.

Copp, Pionk, Brossoit, Stanley, Forbort including Lowry are all getting raises and the Jets still have to re-sign Stastny. One of these guys is getting traded

Brossoit, Forbort and Stastney will be gone I think. Maybe keep Stastney if he will agree to a team friendly deal but I doubt he will.

Ehlers / Lowry for Marner/ Engvall or Kerfoot. Just spit ballin. Balances the Leaf lineup a bit. Quality 3 slot center and a first line LW.
