Not against this either. All depends if he is 100 percent before the start of the playoffs. If he’s not 100 percent game ready, I’d rather wait until the playoffs. Ideally, he’d get a few games in at the end of the year but I don’t know how realistic that is

Cap wise, would it pose an issue if he were activated?

Awesome. As a neutral fan my #1 hope for this year's playoffs is a Panthers vs Lightning series with both teams at full strength. Hopefully Ekblad gets up to 100% quickly.

I laughed, but FWIW, I don't think they're milking it. I wouldn't be surprised if he sits or gets limited time in game one. I also don't think he's gonna be quite 100% for another couple of weeks.
