Leafs want no part of that deal. People seem to forget we are in a tough spot because Woll has a high ankle sprain and is our starter. We just need a 1B goalie who can make a save as Samsonov is unplayable. When Woll comes back he will be our starter again

Im not saying Markstrom is the answer, but Leafs need a long term solution in goals.

Woll could be it, but Campbell and Samsonov both looked great in one season. Whats the difference?

Compared to Samsonov, it would make a huge difference to have a .905 goalie vs a 0.864. The difference between losing and winning games.

Mrazek, Pickard, M.Jones, Merzlikins, Reimer, and Raycroft are just a few names that had better stats to start their careers over more games than Woll has played thus far. Some of them on the Leafs! lol

Reality is Woll is a 25yr old former 3rd rounder that's looked good in the 26 games he's started in the NHL. He's basically a lottery ticket at this point, just like those guys were. Some work out, and others don't. Only time will tell.

Nah. Montreal won't be taking back a crap goalie. The reason they're looking to move a goalie is because they have 3 on the roster as it is.

the only team thats really built from the net out and won cups recently is tampa. everyone else just had plug in play Gs that got hot.
