Another couple of nice plays for Palat. I am getting dangerously hopeful here.

I don't know. I know at the end of last year it looked like he couldn't skate and couldn't handle the puck. He appears to be skating well right now, at least. Like, genuinely quick, which hasn't been the case in a while.

So what some are saying is pretty much stay with the same lineup that got swept like dust in the playoffs last year rather than mix it up with a player or two who actually play a physical game. While there is no longer a place for a player like Witkowski in the lineup every game, I would much rather see him lining up with Wilson type players than see Cernak end up in the box or worse.

Rutta is slow. I don't get how people think his skating is good. He and Coburn operate at about the same speed, and Coburn is huge.
