I bet that top 12 F and the D with Coburn moving into the 5/6 is going to be the opening night lineup.

Is this game available streaming anywhere? My main fantasy hockey draft is tonight and I'd like to watch while I draft.

Pretty close to our opening night line-up, I'm guessing.

Interesting that it seems like Witkowski is making a real case for himself. Hard to imagine having room for both him and Maroon, with guys like Volkov and Verhaeghe also knocking on the door.

We can keep an extra guy with Point out. Seems like Witko could be that guy. Pleasant surprise. Completely unexpected. ...Although, I guess he's a Cooper guy going back to the AHL?

I think we need that more in the top-6 than on the bottom line though, so I'm not sure how long he can last. I think he might start the year as the 13th or 14th forward, depending on the F/D split.

Witkowski is playing so often, it'd be sort of a shock at this point quite honestly to send him down.

I have to remind myself that the reason he's likely playing so much is so management can get looks at him. They're clearly looking hard.

We need it somewhere in the forward group and getting it in the top-six may not be an easy fix, unless maybe Palat turns his game back around.

Agreed on the last part. Might be a matter of a decision that still needs to be made. I think they've made up their mind on Volkov, and probably even Verhaeghe. But Witkowski might be the guy on the bubble. When you think about it though, I'd rather have him as an option than Martel, who feels a little redundant.

Witkowski's playing so often, it makes him feel like he's on the team already.

Gemel Smith is also a bubble guy as well. He's a cut that would crush me, but he'd pass through waivers.

I don't see Wit sticking for long - maybe until Point comes back, but him still being up feels a lot like him being a "realgudpro" rather than a viable option for our team. He's not good enough defensively, he brings literally nothing offensively, and while he's "tough", he's ineffective in the modern game.

I feel like Wit is getting one last chance to win a job, but Verhaege and Volkov are probably the two who end up on the squad (and they get a mini-battle when the games start until Point gets back). Wit might be kept up as a 13th just because he *does* bring an element and energy that could be useful in spot duty, but as far as depth chart he'd be more of a 16th forward.
