Coming back from west coast trip with wins in LA and Anaheim and effort against Sharks gave a flicker of hope that things were starting to come together. Nothing but no one is forcing Johnston to play them more than Kunitz. Kunitz is playing terrible but for whatever reason they aren't going to cut his time until someone forces them to take it from him.
