Nylander has some obviously glaring flaws, but he can see the ice and pass the puck at an elite level. I can totally see him being the type of player that thrives at a higher level with better players.

Yes, because those skills don’t come into play at the AHL.

This never ending issue is completely on him and his summer preparation.

Instead of throwing tires, spend the time on the ice working through one timer angles and sticks until it’s a consistent weapon, both the technique and the technology.

I think he actually avoids taking clappers at this point because it has been an issue so much for a couple years.

I totally agree with this, for years I've thought he gets his hand way to low on the stick, sometimes it looks like his hand is right on the kick point of the stick.
