And the supporting cast? Hartnell, Simmonds, Read, Couturier, Schenn? When are we getting those?
Kreider, Miller, Kristo, Lindberg young players who should be getting a shot or more minutes. Could it really be worse than 4-0 to a dilapidated Devils team? Could it really be worse than Taylor Pyatt leading in foward ice time?

Islanders and Devils were hurting financially but, oh, we just had to give them a great TV deal. Islanders could have been in Kansas City by now and the Devils in Guam.

None of those players have proven anything yet.

Well, Richards looked great on that last shift. Basically was working alone though.

Kristo and Kreider are right where they should be right now. They need to develope and gain some confidence. The fact that the Devils are beating us is because their players are showing more heart and drive to win, (albeit it does not take a lot against us). We have nothing and we're dry and bland. The coach can't be held responsible because the players on the ice are disgustingly bad.
Torts wouldn't stand for the lack of compete level. Yes the players were tuning him out towards the end of last season, but not before. That's partially on the coach.

Disagree. But sure fire AV bring in Lavi and watch him lost too.

Using this one game to make that point is weak imo.
You forget Sharks and Blues games?

They played well against the Blues.

During the dark ages we ruined a few young players doing the exact same thing a lot of posters are suggesting we do now. It's rather lose with losers than damage any of those kids.

Not sure how AV is blamed.
Does anybody actually believe that the Rangers brought the effort tonight that they had against the Kings?
If the loss of Nash means this big a difference, then it is going to be very tough, because Nash is probably not coming back really soon.

With Callahan and Hagelin out too, the butter is spread very thin.

No. I'm saying you praising DeBoer based on this game is ridiculous.
