[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

I felt good going into the game and just wanted to be hard and take pride in my own zone. Me and Dan were saying that we had to have a lot more communication with the forwards today.
We were a lot more confident in our zone and more patient as opposed to running into the corners and running out of position. It’s a good game to build on. Now we have to find some consistency.
- Ryan McDonagh

It was more on face-offs I took a step out. My positioning on the ‘D’ shots was a little bit better. A couple times in the early games I got caught deep in my net.
That’s the way I play, but there’s been a lot of deflections, (so) you want to come out a little bit more, and today it worked for me. A lot of it was I just felt like I knew what was going to happen.
The structure we had in our own end was so good, and the way we played helped me a lot.
- Henrik Lundqvist

We played well in LA to beat that team. We played two pretty good periods in St. Louis, ran out of gas, and we were able to get a day off in our environment.
Then have two good practices and come here and put our best foot forward. I thought our guys competed real hard, which is the key to any game, and we did a lot of right things with the puck.
And when we didn’t have the puck, we did a lot of the right things. So we’ll take our first win in Eastern time, and go from there.
- Alain Vigneault

The boys should go into the game with a "kick them while they're down" attitude. NJ looks like a frail club right now. Their game against Ottawa was a real stinker.

Get it done.

It will suck if they break their win-less streak vs. us.

In the end I wouldn't be surprised. Hockey's different here after all. lulz

Pyatt on the first line while Fast is on the 4th line? Excuse me while I go throw up.

Utterly ridiculous, hope they can win despite the injuries and awful line combos.

Blegh. My friends suck.

I wanted to do a night in the city yesterday, since I was there already, and they all went MIA and did their own thing. One of our good buddies is home from Miami this weekend, and apparently tonight is the big night in the city :(

Hopefully I can catch most of the game. But if they want to do dinner in the city, and then a night out, I will surely be pushing for any bar with a television!
