The entire game has been failure to leave the zone, high flip out after the 10th attempt, then change. Get it back into our zone, cycle us to death and control the puck 90% of the time, and repeat.

Not surprising. Canes were always gonna be super hyped up coming into this game we just need to find a way to survive this period

Typical Stars PP . Look like utter shit for 1:30 and then score.

Canes dominated possesion but they created nothing i consider a scoring chance to be honest.

Wow, I'm impressed with some of the defensive attention to detail in the last 30 seconds of that period. Being up 3-0 it would be easy to coast to the end of the period, but players (Miro and Cogs) blocking shots or passes in the slot or at the side of the net. They are small details, but still very impressive. #GoStars

Maybe we can get some puck possession, start playing better, and pop a few more goals.

Canes really forgot what they did in that Leafs game. All the Stars goals came from prime chances they never gave up while they had Ayrnes in net. Now they have their AHL guy in net and he gets left all by himself.

Not a great change. Rads didn't get to Slavin there. Perry didn't get the puck deep enough at all. This leads to a terrible change.

Was watching a "Tim and Sid" clip this morning, and they commented on how the Canes typically play a run-and-gun but, because Ayrnes was in net, they changed the game plan and went into lock-down mode. Perhaps this game is more like what they typically do? I don't know. But, yeah, the goalie was totally hung out to dry; poor guy is probably going to get pulled in the intermission.
