Forget it guys, he’s @Sky04
PSA - In general, folks, don’t bag on all Ranger fans because of one douche bag. My experience, and my friends that are Rangers fans always tell me, that the ones that act like that are actually Islander fans

So pissed off that they have to don a Rangers sweater to feel right when it comes playoff time.

It’s deplorable.

@Sky04 - Wonder what your takeaway would’ve been if I took you to a game in Philly at the old Veterans Stadium wearing any other team’s jersey and what the outcome would’ve been for you had you not been wearing Eagles gear.

That would be a poor decision that lead to an unwanted (yet expected) outcome.

I don't get the reference but if it's implying that it's a hostile stadium with an irrational/aggressive fanbase the decision would be not to go...? There's always a risk at an away game, I just don't think it's particularly safe or smart to engage and get argumentative with people after a game, post loss.

To be honest the Rangers fans that tried to help and also bring attention to the offender stood out to me more than that bad apple. Good on them.

I understand what Sky04 is trying to say. And I think most of you do too.

Everything that dude did was unacceptable and he deserves to go to jail. Also, the Lightning dude doesn't DESERVE to be assaulted like that.

Meanwhile

Sorry but you're an idiot if you go to an away game and taunt fans after a big loss.
They're both idiots, these things are avoidable - play stupid games and..

Sky04's entire purpose here was to call the victim an idiot.

*At best* -- when pressured by others on his stupid take -- he decided to "both-sides" it and say they were equally idiots, then invoke the old idiom for "he got what he deserved".

You may prefer thinking you know what Sky was trying to say, because what he actually said is so idiotic, but you don't. We're here focused on what he actually said.

However, everyone here knows that if your son was going to that game that you would advise him to be careful drawing attention to yourself because fans at sports games can be idiots and you don't want him to get hurt.

Thats the point. This seems like common knowledge. Both can be true - esspecially if the Lightning dude was arguing.
He's trying to say "How Dare that person celebrate his team win! Doesn't he know that's illegal or some crap?". :eek3:

The only thing I will acknowledge from him (and this is my final post here regarding this issue) is this :

The witness started recording just before the incident so considering that there would be no reason to believe he just started recording just for the hell of it, he must've seen / heard something that prompted the recording.

Oh and btw, I'm not sure if this is the same guy but if it is, it explains a lot :

It almost certainly is. The odds of there being two identically-aged people with that identical name - and that name not being an ultra generic name like "Tim Williams" or something - and both being from Staten Island are not very good.
