So, if I had to take some educated guesses...

If all 2nd round series are over by Thursday, I'm guessing we'll begin on Saturday. If BOS/NYI goes 7, probably Sunday. If LV/COL goes 7 but the Islanders win in 6, I'm still guessing Saturday. In any case, we're going to get 3-4 days of rest, about the same amount as we got after the 1st round, and about the ideal amount, too. Don't want too many days off and getting rusty.

Think the clinching game vs. the Islanders in 2016 was also a shutout. And the one missing series in there - vs. MTL in 2015 - I think he allowed 1 goal, and it was after the Lightning already had a big lead.

If Vasy gets 2 more, that will be an almost impossible record to get. We are starting to see someone on our team who COULD (not yet) surpass Hasek the way he plays. Tonight he would not be denied. And when he plays like that, he's impossible to beat.

Johnson deserves a lot of credit. I trashed the guy repeatedly last year but even after being put on waivers he's out there flying around playing better than he has in quite awhile. He's a true pro right now.

Seems TJ and Killer are stepping up this year vs last, while Palat, Cirelli, and Maroon need to kick it up a notch, although I think Maroon played okay tonight.

Colton isn't even close to 2015 Johnson, he's good depth but he's not going against top defenders, producing PPG numbers nor carrying a line. He's a like an extra Coleman we pulled out of nowhere.
