No, a hearing gives the DoPS the ability to hear from the player before ruling on a suspension. Wilson was only fined, so no hearing was needed.

What Ghost did was reckless and stupid. He should know better. He probably gets suspended. It really doesn’t bother me at this point of the season, but Wilson getting off with just a 5K fine is ridiculous but not surprising considering how goddamn clueless George Parross is

Unfortunately Brindy is staying in Carolina. They have a deal in place, but it is contingent on all of the other coaches and trainers also being extended, so it is just taking some time to finalize.

Agree that Ghost should be suspended (in order to police the game and protect players rather than letting players vigilante it, it's necessary), but the league has really made it so that if they do the optics are incredibly terrible.


On a different note, my favorite Provorov play of the year is when he bullied ahead of Giroux to clear his shooting lane. That ruled.
