Note that Mack has the most EV strength goals in the league (all 7).
Impressive

"The hit" didn't actually injure Neely, it was actually Neely trying to exact revenge on ulf where he hurt his knee. He's said so much himself in interviews.Memories fade and younger people whom see the numbers or youtube clips might not get it - but Neely was nearly unstoppable. He was the (or top 2) best goal-scorers while being one of the toughest guys in the league and was nearly unstoppable - until '......' realized the only way to do it was to purposefully take out his knee.
None of them will get it
The list is getting short and sad .
Above pace:
Matthews 10 in 8
Pastrnak 8 in 7
Palmieri 7 in 5
On pace:
MacKinnon 7 in 7
Ovechkin 6 in 6
DeBrincat 6 in 6
No he's not. It's 50 goals in the team's first 50 goals .
True. Meant to say 50 goals in a team's first 50 games but fair enough comment. Now that would be an epic record
Player | Goals | Games |
Auston Matthews | 10 | 9 |
Kyle Palmieri | 7 | 6 |
Nathan MacKinnon | 8 | 8 |
David Pastrnask | 8 | 8 |
Landeskog has 7 in 8.
That's as close as you can get without being on pace, so I guess he's "just below"?

In all fairness, 0.95 GPG isn't even possible until 18 goals in 19 games, in which point it will be more likely than not that there are 0 players total with a 0.95 GPG or higher anyways. He is at .875 GPG, which isn't .95 GPG or above.

That's fair, I would even move to players that have 1 goal under a goal per game. At 10 games that's still only 9 goals, and by 20+ games we are likely to see no-one for now. At least with 1 goal under, it'll be fun to see players who only need 2 goals in their next game to get back on trackThat's true. I can move it to .9 gpg, but below that there's lots of guys, and where does the cutoff start?
There are 3 players on that paceTheres still dozens of guys on that same pace. If he has 13 goals in 14 games, then yeah its probably worth following.
So he would need 19 in 20 games to hit .95? LolHe is at .875 GPG, which isn't .95 GPG or above.
