Don't worry...his spirit can't be broken too much in 6 minutes a night.

Wait why is Samson on line 4?

Some are theorizing that he's not NHL-ready and having failed to make an impact thus far, is on his way back to junior. According to Nolan, it's a bit more complicated -

"For three regular-season games and the entire preseason, Nolan threw Reinhart “right into the fire” to see how he would react. So the slick center, the No. 2 pick in June, played about 11-15 minutes on a scoring line.

Now, the Sabres are “taking a different approach, cutting back on the minutes, letting him watch game action more so than throwing him right into the fire,” Nolan said."

It probably didn't help Reinhart's case that he didn't seem to have much instant chemistry with the assortment of linemates thrown his way - or lost all 11 of his draws in the "peewee game" which precipitated more of Nolan's juggling.

Because hodgson was so bad on wing...and a teenager once ran over Nolan's dog.

LOL. Well, Nolan didn't mention the dog splatter factor, but he did mention Hodgson in context with the swapping around of centers -

“A goal scorer needs someone to get him the puck, and right now with the center-ice situation we have, we can’t get him the puck,” Nolan said of Hodgson. “Maybe put him with some bigger wingers, the wingers can get him the puck and he’ll have an opportunity to do his thing, that’s shoot and score.”

I'll go with a 3-2 OT win (followed by an 0-3-1 stretch vs Boston and on the California trip).

Will fix everything
We beat the hurricanes in a shootout, so to be consistent in my 6 point October prediction, this has to be a loss. They're all going to be losses. Until Toronto, cause **** those guys.

I'm less concerned with the amount of minutes but more with the line mates. Bangers like Des and McCormick just play a drastically different game style

First game I am going to this year. I don't expect the team to be entertaining at all, but that's ok. I will be sitting in a suite tonight, so at least I'll have that going for me.

Wearing an insanely oversized (for me) size 60 Biron jersey to the game. Last time I wore it Stamkos scored on his own net. So here's to hoping Florida screws up like that and it helps us win.
