Just left the game, man what an enjoyable watch. Everyone played pretty great today. We easily earned that win. The one person that stuck out to suck the most had to be umberger. Even Manning played pretty mistake free. Hopefully we keep the train moving with the wins.

Yea you have to think he sits for Gagner. He and Shultz cause too many issues. Manning would be great for Shultz if he keeps playing like he did tonight. Plus he and ghost have the best chemistry.

Have to imagine Weal get the next shot. As much as I'd like to see Weal replace umberger, gagner replace Vdv and macdonald replace Shultz. It seems unlikely

Guaranteed weal sits out. Hakstol hardly shifts lineup when the team wins

Couturier should have been first star, but wasn't even named one of the three stars.

69% on draws, and just dominated two-ways every shift. +3 and 2 points, anchored the line that simply owned the game.

With respect to Read's best game of the year, Couturier led the team today.

I loved gudas on Tampa and when I saw he got traded to Philly, I figured he would be a fan favorite cause of his huge hits and fighting... however he has turned into a really good all around solid dman and isn't just that goon type player... Obviously he isn't used in PP situations but he can if needed. Such a solid player and looks deadly for you guys

It's unreal how smart Coots game is, just always makes the right play. Everyone knows how great his defensive game is but he really is special at breaking up plays to create offense.

Im not sure how Tavares has been playing lately or if he is playing hurt. Regardless Couts owned him today. Absolutely love this kid. Loved when he picked that puck off Okposo it was just so clean.

Yeah I am really hoping he can be resigned for a nice deal, great player. Him and MDZ make a great pair.

people really underestimate Couturier sometimes. 23 years old and putting up 40 points every year with great defense. people like to **** on his offense because he's not flashy but he's really not that bad at all. it's not like he plays with great offensive players either.

I think his ice time was pretty low today, so I wouldn't doubt it. BTW everyone was chanting New York sucks. Lol

That was a dominating, team effort. We need secondary scoring, and when we get it, we will a tough opponent. Couts looks like a great 2nd line center. That second line is killing it. G,jake and simmer, when they get rolling to, we will be a force. When ghost gets back, that first line should get rolling as well.
And when hakstol gets a more talented line up, provorov, konecny and our other studs on d, this team is trending upwards and is increasing its upside potential.

Every team in the East is beatable except for the Caps. Definitely should avoid Washington.

it means they at least have a chance to sneak into the playoffs in 8th place only to get annihilated in round 1

Even if they did get destroyed in the first round it would still be a step in the right direction for this team to get a winning culture going again. To get back that expectation that this team used to have of being a playoff team. I want to get back to being the team that expects to make the playoffs year after year and stop being the team expecting to miss the playoffs. (all that being said if we miss the playoffs I want a top 3 pick)

They look solid, but even the Caps could be beat, let's not forget how fragile mentally they have been since forever, hey maybe this year is different, but how ridiculous would it be if the Flyers sneak into the playoffs and beat the Caps, oh my my that would be something
