I don't think I see another team get so many linesman blocks as we do. It's pretty much every game, sometimes several times a game.

If we lost this game 1-0 or 5-0 playing this way, I would be confident in them playing Boston. That was all Tampa minus maybe a minute and the 2 on 1 goal. Best period from the Lightning in three months.

Everybody is sharp right now. Coburn isn't looking like a pylon, Cirelli finishing his checks, the 4th causing trouble and our top line is actually heading to the net and shooting rather than rinky-dink passes that lead to turnovers. Great performance so far.

I did not see this particular incident you are referring to which should leave you to feel bad that you read this without having an answer.

I still don't like how McDonagh defended that 2 on 1. He looked indecisive. Like - take away the pass, sure, but also close on the puck handler to make him make a decision. Ryan Johansen really wanted to pass, but McDonagh just kept giving him more and more room.

Girardi shouldn't have been pinching on that play with two forwards in the puck battle but whatever.
