4th line , by the eye test got caved in , is that not the case ?

Atkinson was awful last night, hard for me to believe Frost was worse ?

Staal got what done exactly , he is constantly out of position.

And Deady already lobbying for Zamula to come out of lineup when he was right there with Sanheim and York as our best D.

Your bit on Frost is a pile of shit. Tortorella is doing exactly what you've spent over a year insisting he wouldn't do. Have the courage to admit you have been wrong.
Frost will be traded for peanuts and turn into Sharp. We have a long rich history of doing this -- ignoring talent because it is too flashy. OK, maybe it is not that long but there is a trend...

Analytics in this game are a bit weird. Vancouver Canucks @ Philadelphia Flyers, 2023-10-17

Corsi for 4th line is bad, but scoring chances are sort of even.

Couts and Cates line were the best, Brink is a good fit for Cates b/c he drives the line and Cates can CYA, which allows D-men to be more aggressive.

The 4th line is a fourth line, as the top three lines jell, I suspect their time will be slightly reduced.

Admit Frost looked like shit his first two games, his only good period was when they were down 5-2.
The 2C job is there for the taking, but he can't be passive, he needs to be driving play.

He didn't. He was better than several players still playing.

You are wrong about Tortorella. Always have been. I can't wait until after he's fired and you start blaming him for the stuff he got wrong as if you didn't eagerly bow before him the whole time.

Why does Torts apply the "Get scratched if you like like shit through the first two games" standard only to Frost?

You know this as well as anyone here that this type of data is pointless over a 2-game span, but let's just pretend it isn't. Let's pretend that we can use advanced metrics, meant for 40+games of sample size, to say who is and who isn't better. This data that you posted 100% without context, this data does not attempt in any to explain why the data looks like this..

This is probably a much better representation of how people have performed (through 2 games). Frost has been as good as Couts, Poehling, Brink, Foerster. Cates continues to be an offensive blackhole, Delauriers is the worst performing forward on the team, and TK is the best. Go figure.

You waste entirely too much time doing this...I don't know how you do it

Frost would have been gone with the others Tortorella didn't want this past summer if Briere didn’t push back on that one. This is Tortorella trying to drive home the point to Briere that he needs to come off his stance with Frost.
they are gunna end up waiving and losing him for nothing or trading for 6th rnd useless pick in 25.

just another bad decision from this Org.

They're not waiving Frost.
They may end up trading him in a package for a real 2C if he doesn't pick up his game.

The problem is simple, Frost as a 3C has limited value for the Flyers, who need a top six center.
Cates provides more value as a 3C, because he can do other things of value.
Frost has to become a consistent play driving 2C or you might as well move on.

They gave him the 2C job last season, and to start this season.
He was crap the first two games. This was a typical Tort's "wake up call," your job isn't guaranteed.
He does it to veterans all the time, why should Frost be exempt?

Your second paragraph makes no sense at all.
