As always Canada looks to have a very strong roster through and through. Having a draft eligible Bedard should be a treat to watch. It’s gold or nothing as per usual and Canada will be the favourite.

Gage Alexander is an 02 goalie, not eligible for 2023 tournament

Looks good! Man, that team could do some significant damage this year if they played.

Should be a stacked team, I think it can rival the 2021 team imo.

Logan Mailloux eligible as well, but unlikely to be invited for you-know-what reason.

he's either CHL or NHL next season so I doubt whoever drafts him will keep him in the former

Why not? He still needs it + he missed a whole season, let him get that season in.

Plus Arizona and Montreal are early in a rebuilding phase, bringing Wright now would be highly detrimental to his development.

This isn’t a Shane Wright hate thread.
If you want to debate about him we can do it on the Shane Wright form on the prospects form.

Great how you framed this as negatively as you could, discussing what drafted guys should be part of the 2023 team is a perfectly good use of this thread. I think Wright will be on the team.

I tend to agree. Wright doesn't look like he is ready for the NHL. Not a hatred comment, simply put...he will likely be on this team.

It will be the Bedard and Wright show next year. Oh..
And Michkov show as well.

Oh....also the Lambert show...that kid is looking legit and his stock should be rising

Whether Wright is on the team or not, it doesn't look as strong as this year's team. The defence does look good.

I worry about offence. I like Pinelli from the U18s, but he's so far low the list and I'm not familiar with QMJHL players.

If Bedard, Wright, and Savoie are all there, then the offence should look pretty good

Is Arizona on a 10 year rebuild phase ??? Omg that team has been terrible last 10 years , they need to be transferred to Quebec
