I’m having a hard time saying anything positive about Vegas. The 24 hour drinking and gambling may have been fun when I was in my 20s, but right now i don’t find anything appealing about that city.

While I was hoping someone else would win, I don’t really care that much that Vegas did. However, I’m really quite glad to finally find other people who hate Vegas (the city). People always act like I’m crazy that I didn’t like it and it tops the list of places I would never return. Nice to know I’m not the only one who is not a fan

Vegas. I mean, the entire city is based upon one principle...separating people from their money. There's a very thin veneer of glitz, but if you stop and actually look around, it can actually be depressing.

I'm talking about the strip here. I have no idea what the suburbs or outlying areas are like. I've only traveled there for conventions and hated them. Much preferred traveling to the east coast or even Cali.

Wouldn't be a place I'd want to live, but if you like the outdoors, there's a lot going for it 9 months a year.. plus amazing restaurants, every big name act you'd ever want to see, spas, shopping, partying... I get the appeal for many. There's a reason it is growing like it is, not my jam... but this certainly isn't St Louis.
