Figure since all but 2 matchups are set, it’s time to get the Non-Avs playoff discussion going.

East:

Canes (M1) vs Isles (WC1)
Bruins (A1) vs Panthers (WC2)
Devils (M2) vs Rangers (M3)
Leafs (A2) vs Bolts (A3)

West:

VGK (P1) vs Jets (WC2)
Oilers (P2) vs Kings (P3)

Avs and Stars matchups TBD tomorrow.

Avs win in any fashion: Will play Seattle (WC2)

Avs Lose in any fashion: Will play Minnesota

Bruins will sweep.
Islanders will beat Carolina
Devils will beat Rangers (looking forward to this one, gonna be a great series)
Leafs take out Tampa (Toroto slaying the dragon this year, only to get murdered by Boston again?)

Vegas sweep the Jets
Kings upset Oilers (Looking forward to this one after the comments regarding Landeskog)
Start and AVS will advanced. Doesn´t matter who will play Minny or Kraken.

That´s my first round prediction.

Two Rivers
Just give me Toronto and Edmonton first round exists to cover the pain of the Avs flaring out in round 2.

Outside of them it'd be funny to see Boston find a way to screw this up and I really want to see Dallas ruin what very well could be Pavelski's last real shot at the cup.

I want to see all these things as well and I wouldn’t mind seeing the Rangers with a first round exit too!

Since the Avs aren't going far without Landy , who do we all want to see win.

Probably won't watch much myself but it's gotta be the Bruins for me

Faulty premise. Yes, Landeskog is a big loss. But they can still be formiddable with a healthy/functional D group.

It will drive up advertising. More eyes on tvs.
Makes little difference really. Advertising benefit goes mostly to the media and the media deals are already locked in. The real upside is in the non-traditional markets. So if that were the case its teams most in this group would not like to see win.

Hasn't there been talk of the league doing it's own thing to fill the void Bally's left behind?

Car in 5
Bos in 5
NJD in 7
Tor in 5
VGK in 6
Oilers in 7
Avs in 5 over Sea
Min in 7 over Dal

Surely there will be upsets because there always are but I think most of the underdogs look very flawed this year.

The only eastern team I wouldn't want to win is Boston, because I think them going out in the first round would be hilarious and because the weird self-important air of their fanbase is really grating.

I would still rather Boston swept any of the western teams in the final.

I hate every team in the west playoffs other than LA and Seattle. As long as MIN loses I’ll be happy.

East, want to see leaf’s lose just cuz it’d be funny. Rangers fans are annoying but outside of that I really don’t care about the East.

Honestly, there's not a team in the east I truly dislike. For some unknown reason, I've always found it difficult to really enjoy watching the Islanders or Devils but that's probably because of limited viewings since the late 90s. And well, the Devils in the 90s were tough to watch for everyone else as well, I think.

Think I'm going to love watching the Eastern Conference playoffs. They all went out and loaded up as much as they could. There's going to be a lot of skill and talent on display there. And in Toronto's case, hopefully a lot of desperation to make a series out of it.

As for the West, I'll only be watching the Avs games.

For me:

Western interest is Avs 100% (except for seeing everyone else suffer lol).

Eastern interest is Canes #1 with Finnish bias (Pulju for the Conn Smythe low keyyyy lol)
Then Devils vs Rags matchup which should be fireworks. The rest meh
