Pretty evident to me that his agent couldnt get a deal and advised the kid to sign off on a reduced contract. His best strategy is to play his as off and hopefully someone will bite come June.

There was just no way for anyone in the Bruins organization to know that Erik Haula wasn't magically a second line center just because he played well for two months alongside a former MVP and a former (and likely future) Maurice Richard Trophy winner. Only a bunch of fans on HF could have cracked that impenetrable code.

That 3rd and 4th line is immensely horrid. This would basically be the same team they are icing this year with a worse 1C. That lineup does not fix a thing and would most likely result in a missed playoffs or barely making it.

That 4th line is reprehensible. Brazeau can’t skate. Lauko was one of the worst players in Providence. Reprehensible might not be a strong enough word…despicable?

doesnt matter, we go nowhere with the old guys now anyways. let the kids play, purge the old dud contracts. our 3rd and 4 liners are all easily replaceable by young guns.
