Gonna call my own foul here- I had to double check because I had no idea Marco Kasper was a real player. I thought nearly every name was a bit. I’ll excuse myself.

lol would be nice except Dallas was one of the very few teams who chose not to interview Marco Kasper at the combine
Don't know if the Stars have changed the process or not from the past, they use to not interview prospects at the combine. They'd talk to them other places and often much earlier then the combine.

This would pretty much be my dream draft tbh. I traded picks #18, 50 and 83 to Arizona for picks 27, 36 and 43.

Traded picks 18 & 83 to Arizona for 27 and 34. Safe to say I'd be very, very pleased with this draft class lol. No chance Hutson falls that far tho imo

Here's what I got without trading anything. Figured I should throw a goalie in the mix, but I mainly just drafted players I've seen/heard of before so idk who the last 2 guys are, they were just the best players available

Traded 18 to Minnesota for 24 + 56 + 153

Don't think Mintyukov will make it to 18, much less 24. But who knows, I guess.

Don't know much about anyone beyond the top 100, so that's more position or recognition based for me.

I kinda like your non-trade draft better, mostly I'm a fan of everything I've seen out of Frank Nazar and I'm hoping the Stars can find a place to draft Adam Sykora in the 2nd round or later (no way he falls to the 3rd). He seems particularly intriguing because he's insanely young for the draft class, a few days from being a 2023 and hoping that he can add more offense to his game to go with his excellent defensive play. Everything after the first round is mostly a prayer, especially at 50, so I'd shoot for that upside despite not being a fan of drafting d-first prospects in the draft in general. Sadly, I don't see Nazar falling to 18, but it's a weird draft so I suppose anything is possible.

I don’t know much about this draft, but I kind of want us to draft Lambert, assuming there isn’t someone else there who fell

I know he’s got some question marks, but if all goes well could be a 1B or 2A Center. Even though we already have lots of depth there, still could be worth it

When people say that Lambert is this year's Raty, does that mean that Lambert was at one point ranked #1, top 3, top 10?
