He was looking at that rusher that beat his guy right in front of him and took his eyes off down the field.Thompson had Hill and didn't trust it
Same thing we saw with Dobbs last week. Not enough reps, doesn't have the feel.I see what you guys were saying with Thompson
He seems to panic in big moments and under pressure
I agree the throw to Hill was problematic. Had a ILB in there and DBs downfield yet.Yeah idk if he coulda got that to Hill.pressure made him slide right he would have to throw across his body
Could be wrong I’d like to see replay
A more experienced QB would have probably eaten the hit to make the play, but it still would have been a tough throw due to the pressure. He was looking at that rusher that beat his guy right in front of him and took his eyes off down the field.
They paused it on the replay, he saw him. He didn't throw it. Hill also had a free release off the snap, so he should be looking at a spot.Yeah idk if he coulda got that to Hill.pressure made him slide right he would have to throw across his body
Could be wrong I’d like to see replay
McDaniel taking 20 seconds to decide what to call each play cost the Dolphins the game. I think he has a bright future as a coach, but he needs to overhaul his playcalling process.Did McDaniel/Thompson really need 17 secs in the huddle to say "QB sneak?" Just a brutal sequence.
It doesn't help that Thompson keeps bailing from pockets and running to his right, which cuts off half the field and to make things worse Hill is usually on the other side.
Dolphins battled hard and competed a lot better than I thought they would so props for that.
They are breaking ground on a new stadium in a few weeks. And hopefully down the road the team leaves Buffalo.
Yeah, it wasn’t as much of a slam dunk as the broadcast crew made it seem.A more experienced QB would have probably eaten the hit to make the play, but it still would have been a tough throw due to the pressure.
Shit, Josh Allen in his fourth start wouldn't have looked this good.I mean, can we really blame Thompson for panicking there? He's a rookie QB with zero playoff experience. The game shouldn't have even been that close and aside from the awful clock management and pick, he didn't play bad at all
Yea its gonna take a miracle to stop that tax money wasting boondogle. They are breaking ground on a new stadium in a few weeks.
